This is a rather nice project MGB to get your teeth into, rather than the usual example that has had 15 owners and 5 restorations, this one has had only 3 owners from new and hasn’t been too mucked about with.
It is a good spec with wire wheels and overdrive In the sought after colour of Old English White with red interior.
It has it’s original engine, a lovely patinated interior with the correct steering wheel, the fit together hood frame, even the original tonneau cover and bars, original tool kit in it’s bag, all things which have usually been lost or replaced with parts from later cars.
The car had been dry stored since being taken off the road in 2012, and with just a clean of the points in the distributor and fuel pump the car is up and running and driving in the yard (it will obviously need a full service and brake check).
Bodywork wise most of the underside is solid and original, it has had centre sill sections replaced several years ago, but it will need repairs to the four corners to lesser or greater degree, the front wings and front valence need replacing and the lower rear wings (from the trim strip down). The doors are sound with minor rust on the bottom edges, the boot lid is very good, the bonnet, being aluminium is also good.
Please have a good look at the pictures, if you would like any more pictures or info, please email or call.
