 The Rootes Group's alternative to an MGB, the rather stylish Sunbeam Alpine has always been a little bit rarer, but a great all round usable car.

This is an original soft top roadster as opposed to a converted hardtop GT, finished in Commodore Blue, with some rather nice period "Carmona" 13" alloys.

It has the 1725cc engine breathing through a Webber twin choke carb conversion  mated to the overdrive gearbox, the car cruises at respectable speeds very easily. 

The interior quite original and reasonably presentable, but could be improved here and there. The paint and bodywork was obviously done a few years ago, there are odd little imperfections but it still presents pretty well,  but again if you want it perfect, there is work to do!

It will have a service and mot before being sold.
