This is very much a drivers car, good, solid chassis and body, it has been fitted with many uprated parts and then been used and well sorted.
It also comes with a rather nice TR6 (W TR6 33) number plate which is transferrable and quite valuable in its own right!
There is a large history file with the car showing some of the expenditure, which includes:
2003: Stainless steel sports exhaust, new mohair hood
2005: Full engine rebuild with fast road cam, gearbox rebuild,
new clutch, uprated driveshafts (£3240.19).
2006: Revington TR alloy fuel tank and Bosch fuel pump kit (£1628.26)
2007: Engine tuning, suspension work, 4 pot brake caliper and drilled disk kit
Leather bucket seat and 4 point harnesses, wiper system rebuilt, halogen conversion,
uprated dampers.(£5327.68)
2008: Revington TR Alloy radiator, hoses, electric fan kit, doors rebuilt with
new rubbers, runners, full service, etc (£2931.58).
Aside from the above, the car has a roll bar, white face dials, electronic ignition, oil filter conversion, luggage rack and recent stainless steel bumpers
The result of all the work is a car that drives very well, inspiring confidence with decent brakes and handling, the engine sounds great whether idling with a purposeful burble or on full song, it pulls cleanly and strongly. The overdrive gearbox means it will cruise happily at the speed limit and beyond without over stressing the engine.
The bodywork is solid, but some of the paintwork is showing its age, with blemishes on most panels, hence the price, but the car is perfectly useable and still turns heads wherever it goes.
It has also recently been fitted with new stainless steel bumpers, although there isn't a receipt on file.
The car will be sold freshly serviced and with a new mot certificate.
